The training not only helps people earn a living but also preserves Bharat’s traditional crafts for future generations.

How the Program Works

Basic Training
New learners are taught the basics of weaving in just 15 days.

Rigorous Practice
Trainees practice weaving 300 meters of fabric to master the craft.

Advanced Training
They learn complex techniques like dobby and jacquard weaving, which allow them to create intricate designs and earn higher wages.
All-Round Learning
The program goes beyond weaving.
Participants learn everything they need to become self-sufficient artisans and even start their own businesses.

Key Features
The training is free, and participants receive a stipend (₹150–₹300 per day) during the course.
After completing training, participants can either work from home or join Shramdaan’s production facilities.
The program promotes healthier lifestyles by encouraging participants to avoid alcohol and non-vegetarian diets.

Shyamlal, a young man from Madhya Pradesh, was struggling to make ends meet with a job that paid just ₹2,000 a month. After completing the training, he began earning ₹18,000 a month while working from home. He now supports his family, sends his kids to better schools, and has built a solid foundation for the future.
