Imagine a world where every thread spun tells a story of resilience, hope, and transformation. Our Hathkargha training program is more than just an initiative—it is a movement that uplifts the marginalized, empowers the underserved, and celebrates the timeless spirit of humanity. Together, we are weaving not just fabrics, but dreams and a brighter future for those at the bottom of the pyramid.
Our Story
From Despair to Hope
Hathkargha was born out of a simple yet profound realization—that in the quiet corners of rural Bharat, countless lives are brimming with potential yet shackled by poverty and lack of opportunity. It was in 2016 that a team of inspired youth, guided by the wisdom and blessings of Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, embarked on this journey of transformation.
Their mission? To empower rural communities by reviving the dying art of handloom weaving, creating sustainable livelihoods, and fostering a sense of pride in self-reliance.
What started as a humble effort to train a handful of artisans in the art of weaving has today become a nationwide movement. With the unwavering support of influential leaders like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and thousands of compassionate individuals, Hathkargha is scripting stories of change in over 20 villages and 6 central jails across Bharat.
